NEW ROSS – Harold M. Johnson, 65, a former resident of New Ross, died suddenly at 7 p.m. Wednesday in his home at Terre Haute. Mr. Johnson was a member of Brazil Elks Lodge 762. He had owned and operated “The Trading Post” at Terre Haute the past 12 years. Surviving are the widow, Beulah; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Wilson of Brazil; a son, Gary of Terre Haute; his mother, Mrs. Ruby Johnson of Terre Haute, and five grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Patrick J. Ryan Funeral Home at Terre Haute. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park there. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. – jlr
